January 15, 2021 with special guest speaker, Dr. Suzan Huntington
Speaker: Dr. Huntington (Suzan) will kick off the year with important updates on how Boy’s & Girl’s Aid is managing their programs during COVID. Included will be an update on Safe Place, Online Learning, issues with DHS and more.
December 18, 2020 Holiday Virtual Luncheon Event
Speaker: Karl Hirsch. Karl is one of Boys & Girls Aid Foster Care Adoption Clinicians, and he will be sharing with us about adoption from the foster care system. He is an excellent speaker and we will able to ask our questions at the end.
We forgot to start recording right at the beginning, so we begin part way through Dianne McMichael’s report about the Sports Bag Program. Initially, had we recorded, you would have experienced Diann Harland’s announcement of the sudden passing of beloved member, Kathy Gibbons, and our moment of silence reflecting on her amazing contribution to Cypress. Diann repeats some words about this again at the end of this video for the sake of the video.
