Gift Tags Program and TLP Gifts  & Sports Bags

The Boys & Girls Aid board of directors is so grateful to our members for their remarkable response to all of the calls for help to support our Christmas programs this year.  As president of the Cypress Auxiliary, I couldn’t be more proud and appreciative of the response for requests for cookies for the sports bags, the gift giving for the children who shared their wishes to be included on our Giving Package, and the support of the our young adults in the Transitional Living Program – some of which have children of their own.  All they want is to provide a meal and a few gifts at Christmas for their children.  It’s never been more important than it is this year to provide some caring, normalcy, and love to these young people. Thank you to everyone for the amazing response this year.  All the tags were pulled and gifts can be dropped off until today, Tuesday, December 8th.

Sign the new Cypress House Sign

A reminder that Margie Wiesenthal is still waiting for all of us to sign “Cypress House” sign which will ultimately sit in front of Seneca House.  For those who didn’t know or forgot, Suzan Huntington announced at our September meeting that Seneca House would not be named Cypress House in our honor and our 30th anniversary year helping Boys & Girls Aid.  But we can’t post the sign there until everyone signs it.

Margie has the correct pen needed to write on the sign and she has setup a table in her patio for you to sign the sign without having to come into her home.  Margie’s address is in the Charbonneau phone directory and in the Boys & Girls new directory that was recently sent to all members in the mail.  You can also email her at: wiesenthal2636@comcast.net to make your arrangements.

Donating Directly

If you prefer to donate $ at any time.  Here is the online link to do that.  In the “Comments” section you can add that you are “Cypress”.

Give Online

Please Complete an In-Kind Form for All Giving to Boys & Girls Aid

Please remember to fill out a gift In-Kind form for the contributions you’ve made.  There are those who may think this isn’t important because they won’t be reporting this on their tax forms but Boys & Girls Aid needs this information in order to keep track of the gifts each program has received.  Boys and Girls Aid also NEEDS THIS IN-KIND DOCUMENTATION as proof of ALL giving to them.  It also helps them to publicize all those to those who wish to use their services and/or wish also to donate to them.

Go here to get your In-Kind Form  It is fillable online, which means you can type directly online, print and send.  Or just download and fill it out by hand and send in to Megan Bos at mbos@boysandgirlsaid.org.

Get Your In-Kind Form
Please remember that even though we’re not able to get together for luncheons, your board is still here and working hard to make sure the programs we’ve always supported continue to be supported to the best of our ability.  Be assured that every dollar or gift you give will go to the children we support and our goal is still to ‘provide children in need with a safe and stable environment.

If you miss a meeting, you can always catch up by watching recorded meetings at cypressonline.org. Click the menu that says “Zoom Luncheons.”  We’ve had some wonderful speakers this year and I know you would enjoy listening.  If you can possibly attend the meetings, please tune in.  It’s fun to see everyone.

Given our current situation with the Covid virus, it’s especially important that each and every one of you know you have made a difference in a child’s life this Christmas season.

For now, our best to all and a Happy Christmas to each and every one of you. May 2021 be joyous.
