It was great seeing all who were able to attend this past Friday.  Thanks again to Steph Pump and Dianne McMichael for arranging a terrific Thanksgiving buffet luncheon, catered by Its Party Time.  Our speaker also brought us to tears.  Thank you, Dara Michelini, Director of Infant Adoption.  Suzan Huntington also introduced this year’s party plans for Housing Services (formerly TLP) and we signed up to help bring food and gifts for their young ones by December 7th. Suzan will be in touch ahead of the 7th about this.

Crab & Rib Dinner 2023  — Save the Date

We also announced the finalized date for the 2023 Crab and Rib Dinner which this year will be March 25th at the Willamette Country Club in Canby.  We will begin the auction collection process in December.  Elaine announced that we will be asking all members to donate one gift card and one item to one of the themed baskets and/or donate a premium bottle of wine.  We will begin this process at the December 9th luncheon.  We will collect items at Terri Royse’s home and then create the baskets at Vicki Wright’s home ahead of the auction. Thank you to Chris Bosak, Anne Shevlin and Elaine for their efforts to organize all.

Reminders to “Pull & Bake”

2022 Giving Wreath

At our just past luncheon meeting, HQ posted their 2022 Giving Wreath so we could pull the gift tags.  For those who were not able to attend, please find the Giving Wreath now at the home of Leslie Walker on her front porch with the gift tags to pull.  $25 is the approximate range for your gift giving.  No one is keeping track, but that’s a ballpark.  Pull the tags until they are gone.   Check the book for Leslie’s contact info.

Bring your gifts to our brunch on December 9th, unwrapped.  If you are not able to attend the December luncheon, please bring your gifts, also unwrapped, to Leslie’s porch before December 8th.  You don’t need to ring the doorbell. Leslie will be checking her front door regularly.

Sports Bags – We need home made cookies by Dec 3rd.

Dianne McMichael updated us on this year’s amazing Sports Bag program which has been greatly assisted again this year with the financial help of the Rotary of Wilsonville and also David and Zachery Reiner, brokers for REMAX equity group in Canby.

We have ten (10) dozen cookies so far and Dianne is baking away but we will need 50 more dozen by Dec 3rd. Please remember — no nuts,   Her email is: jakemcmichael@centurytel.net  and her phone number is in the membership book.

We will be sending out the December luncheon RSVP after Thanksgiving. Wishing all a blessed and safe holiday.
