Whew, this has been a crazy few days. That is more than understatement. But time to celebrate coming out the other side?
I just want to remind all of you that now that the power is back on and we have internet again, we’re going ahead with our “luncheon” meeting on Friday, February 19, at 11:30.
Elaine Swyt has prepared a video commemorating the Cypress Branch’s last 30 years of service to Boys Girls Aid. A trip down memory lane and then some.
There will also be a report about our Easter Basket project. Terri Royse and Connie Taylor have been busy lining up items that will be needed for the baskets. Lesley Walker will be bringing us up to date on the project and where we can go to find the tags. We will be handling the Easter basket project in much the same way we handled the Christmas package tags. Leslie Walker has volunteered her covered front door patio to place an Easter wreath where we can pick up the tags and return our purchases.The tags will be available for pickup on March 5. More information will be shared at Friday’s meeting. It’s important that we support the Easter basket effort as these kids from Cypress House and the Nest will be depending on us.
Chris Bosak will have a brief update on the Crab & Rib Dinner plans. I think you’ll like what she has to say.
