We have had a request for items from our Safe Place program. As a reminder, Safe Place is our homeless and runaway shelter located in Hillsboro. Safe Place is the only shelter of its kind in Washington County, making it a crucial resource for youth in the community. The staff at Safe Place are working on refurbishing the bedrooms and are asking for our help in providing various items:
- Twin XL bedspreads in solid colors (preferably white or grey)
- Twin XL sheet sets in solid colors (preferably white or grey)
- Gender neutral room décor- for teenagers, can include canvases, wall art, photos, rugs, etc. (please nothing glass!)
- Alarm clocks
- $5 gift cards- Starbucks, Dutch Bros, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subway, etc.
