The decision has been made just this morning and here is Suzan’s letter to all those registered for the event. If you haven’t seen it yet, we are notifying all Cypress Auxiliary members that the Crab & Rib Dinner is postponed. Please read Suzan’s letter here:
Dear Crab & Rib Dinner Participant (each registrant is addressed here individually)
On behalf of the event leadership and in response to ensuring your safety, it is with heavy hearts that we have decided to postpone the Crab & Rib Dinner.
Because we do not have all guest emails, please forward this email to any friends you invited to the event. This will help us get the word out.
Due to this inconvenience, we will be issuing tax receipts for all tickets purchased at 100% deduction. You will hear from me once we have selected a new summer date and you will be automatically registered for that event at NO additional cost. This is our way of saying thank you or offering your graciousness as we maneuver through this time.
We anticipate the summer event will still be good time with an auction, wine wall, balloons and the works. While we won’t be serving crab, we will have something fun and unique – just you wait, it will be amazing.
I am sorry for this short notice of this postponement and I do hope you understand. We are so honored to have the Crab & Rib Dinner supporting the good work of Boys & Girls Aid and the children we serve. We do rely on this event to help us make a difference for our youngest children living in foster care without their families. I look forward to sharing their stories and their need to have all of us care for them and rooting for them to have the best life has to offer.
