We are sorry to share that Maxine’s Lehl’s husband, Ron, passed recently. Maxine, who is a long time member of the Cypress Auxiliary branch of Boys & Girls Aid. We send our sincere sympathies to you Maxine and to your family. We are sharing Ron’s obiturary here:
Ronald Lehl
June 27, 1933 – Oct. 3, 2020
Ron was born in Portland to Henry and Marie, German immigrants from Russia. He attended Franklin High School where he was an outstanding Basketball and Baseball player. He was scouted to play professional Baseball but joined the Air Force in 1951. Later he was inducted into the PIL Hall of Fame. Ron joined the family business, “Lehl Sanitary Service” in 1955 and married Maxine Ward in 1958. They moved to Charbonneau in 1997. Ron enjoyed friends, golf and volunteering as Marshall.
Ron leaves his wife Maxine; children, Martin, Rhonda and Joan Gosling (Greg); and three grandchildren, McCall, Hayden and Griffin.
