Hello Ladies:

The Crab & Rib Dinner Planning Committee (Suzan Huntington, Katie MacDonald, Chris Bosak, Anne Shevlin, Diann Harland, and Elaine Swyt) met yesterday morning to take another serious look at whether to continue plans for a live event on September 18th.

We looked at every scenario but in the end the decision was to NOT jeopardize the safety and health of our members, speakers, sponsors and donors and therefore to POSTPONE the Crab & Rib Dinner and the Gift Raffle/Auction until the Spring, 2022.

Suzan Huntington has prepared the communication to all on this decision and how we will move things forward into 2022.  With so much planning and most excellent response from our members, it was a tough decision to make, but the COVID-19 new cases, available hospital beds, cross-over cases in our own community, and unfortunate death numbers are not looking any better day-to-day in Oregon and so, it was a unanimous decision to reschedule in total.

Greetings,

What a wonderful summer we’ve been having and I hope you have enjoyed some good fun over the past few months.

As you are aware of the current COVID-19 climate, this may come as no surprise to you, but Boys & Girls Aid Cypress Branch has decided to postpone the Crab & Rib Dinner until the Spring of 2022. Out of caution and care for our community, we feel this is the best decision as we seek all to remain safe and healthy and to enjoy many more summers.

Tickets for the event are no longer available to purchase. If you are a current ticket holder, you will receive an email from Katie MacDonald very soon.
