Hello Cypress Members:
We are ready to take your RSVP for our “in person” luncheon meeting on Friday, July 16th at 11:30am in the CC Pavillion. Thank you upfront to all who helped make this happen.
SpringRidge is still not available although Cherie used all her charms to try and make that happen. The doors are still not open there to outside functions. And so, we have the next best thing thanks to Tom (formerly Wilsonville Catering, now with Cutsforth Market) and more of Cherie’s charm. A boxed lunch (although Cherie did try for a buffet): Chicken Salad Wrap (vegetarian for those who request it), Fresh Fruit Salad, Chips and a Cookie. Wine and water also available.
Click the RSVP link at the end of this email. In your RSVP, let us know if you prefer the vegetarian version The luncheon cost is the same — $15 at the door by check (preferred) or cash for those who RSVP no later than Wednesday, July 14th.
The agenda for this meeting is to keep everyone updated on the plans for the 2021 Crab & Rib Dinner, scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2021 and give everyone the opportunity to signup to help. If you can’t attend, you can contact Anne Shevlin, Chris Bosak or Elaine Swyt. Numbers and emails are in the book. Here are some highlights of where we are. We have a short window remaining.
Signup to Volunteer Your Help with Crab & Rib Dinner
We still have slots to volunteer to help with the Crab & Rib Dinner setup, etc. We’ll pass around that clipboard again.
Gift Basket Raffle Donations
Last month several signed up for donations to the Gift Basket Raffle which replaces the traditional Silent Auction this year. We still have a few openings for items that you could bring either to this next meeting or to Elaine’s home. Those items remaining are:
- $50 Gift Card for local food or activity
- $100 Local Spa Certificate
Wine Raffle
Everyone who can is asked to also donate 1-2 bottles of red or white wine worth $15 or more for our Wine Raffle or for inclusion in our baskets.
