Hello Cypress Members:
We are ready to take your RSVP for the very special in person” luncheon meeting on Friday, June 25th at 11:30am in the CC Dining Room. Thank you upfront to all who helped make this happen. Thank you also to “The Turn” for helping us serve a delicious picnic lunch.
There no longer are restrictions to limit how many members sign up for our meeting. However, we will be adhering to social distancing guidelines. This just means fewer at a table.
Click the RSVP link at the end of this email and pick from the selections listed. You will be able to select from two (2) box lunches with the trimmings — turkey or roast beef. Wine and water will be available. The luncheon cost is the same — $15 at the door by check or cash for those who RSVP no later than June 21st.
The agenda for this meeting is to prepare in earnest for the 2021 Crab & Rib Dinner, scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2021. We need everyone who wants to help (and any other current or prospective member) to be there and to listen to what we think we want to do this year and how. We have a short window remaining. Your ideas and willingness to help wherever you can, is most important.
Like usual, you will be able to sign-up to volunteer to help setup for the dinner and hybrid auction and to give ahead what you can to our themed Grand Gift Basket Raffle and accompanying Wine Auction. Start taking a look around for gift cards and certificates, specialty items, weekenders, timeshares, vacation homes, hotel stays, etc. that might work in a themed gift basket. Here is our working list of basket categories: Hawaii, Getaways, Beauty & Spa, Golf, Home & Garden, At the Beach, Wine & Dine, Bucket List, and Kitchen Gourmet.
As important as all that is, the most important reason for scheduling this meeting to give everyone a chance to catch up with each other after too many months not feeling safe to do that. No Zoom.
Thank you to everyone for all you do for Boys and Girls Aid. Thank you for joining us on June 25th at 11:30am. Absolutely no requirement that you signup or give anything. Please just come to the meeting — no matter. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone again. Let us know if any questions.
