Sign the new Cypress House Sign
As Suzan announced in our last virtual luncheon meeting, Seneca House is renamed “Cypress House”. All Cypress auxiliary members are invited to sign the sign. Margie has offered to coordinate that. You can either go to her place and sign or she will come to yours. Margie’s address is in the Charbonneau phone directory and in ours. You can email her at: wiesenthal2636@comcast.net. Margie has the correct pen needed to write on the sign.
Membership Directories
Speaking of directories, Megan said HQ will be finishing up and publishing this year’s directories and they will be mailed out soon.
November Virtual Luncheon Meeting. November 20th with Speaker, Sue Rada-Quillen @ 11:30am.
Our featured speaker will be Sue Rada-Quillen. Sue Rada-Quillen is the Director of the Neighborhood Program. This is the first time we’ve had a speaker talk to us about this very important program.
We want to make this session interactive and see each other. So, we have changed the format to a meeting not webinar. If you get a cancellation to the webinar format invitation, don’t panic, just click the following new link and we’ll all be joining the virtual luncheon together on the same screen. It also means you will be able to ask your questions directly. You will have the option to activate your video or not. It’s up to you.
The Christmas Giving Tree Gift Tags Program and TLP Gifts
Beginning November 16th, Leslie Walker has offered to place this year’s Giving Tree on her covered porch so we can select our tags as usual. This year we will be including TLP gift cards on the Giving Tree, so you will be able to pick a gift card to i.e. Fred Meyer or a regular gift tag as a way to give this holiday season. We are asking for the Giving Tree, no more than $25 in value. The TLP items, will be for a gift card and described in the tag itself for value.
You will be able to pick your choice of gifts and then return them to Leslie’s porch no later than Dec 8th. Please do not leave checks or cash. Leslie’s home address is located in our member directory. You don’t need to call ahead to pick your tag or to leave your gift. She will be monitoring her porch regularly. Leslie’s address is in the Member Directory.
