We are very excited to share some pretty fabulous news about the Christmas Sports Bag Program.

The proposal for funding was accepted by the Rotary Foundation of Wilsonville.  Last Monday, Jake McMichael took our proposal to Rotary’s Foundation board meeting and they fulfilled the complete request for $1,500.  In addition to that, Steph Pump was able to get funding for $450 from David Riener and Zachary Riener, Brokers of RE/MAX equity group.  RE/MAX equity group doesn’t presently have an office here in Charbonneau but they do a lot of business here and were happy to give to us this year.  This donation was made for the purchase of the sports bags.  This year we’ll be able to produce 30 very special sports bags for our boys.

Ann Miller also has offered this year to purchase the socks.  But get this, a day after all this wonderful news, Steph Pump heard from the Reiners and they said they will continue funding the sports bags EVERY YEAR going forward!

We still will need cookies. More about that at our next virtual meeting on Nov 20th.

We are “over the moon” grateful for all.

Sign the new Cypress House Sign

As Suzan announced in our last virtual luncheon meeting, Seneca House is renamed Cypress House.  All Cypress auxiliary members are invited to sign the sign.  Margie has offered to coordinate that.  You can either go to her place and sign or she will come to yours.  Margie’s address is in the Charbonneau phone directory and in ours.  You can email her at:  wiesenthal2636@comcast.net.  Margie has the correct pen needed to write on the sign.

Membership Directories

Speaking of directories, Megan said HQ will be finishing up and publishing this year’s directories and they will be mailed out soon.
