About Our Meeting
We are happy to announce we will meet in person for our Friday, October 15, 2021 luncheon in the CCC Dining Room. Our guest speaker will be Suzan Huntington, President & CEO of Boys and Girls Aid. Along with her important comments and updates, we will also be discussing the plans for many of our holiday programs, and the latest for the Crab & Rib Dinner in 2022.
COVID-19 Restrictions Will be in Place
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ:
For everyone’s safety and to comply with current COVID-19 requirements, we will require social distancing, wearing a mask when not enjoying your lunch, and upfront we will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within the last 72 hours. We will serve 4 to a table.
How to RSVP for Luncheon
We will be offering a boxed chicken salad wrap lunch which includes chips, a side fruit salad and cookie. If you prefer a veggie wrap, please indicate that in your online RSVP. We also will have available an assortment of red and white wines. The price of the luncheon will be $15.
Please RSVP no later than NOON on Monday, Oct 11th. All attendees must purchase a lunch. We prefer you pay by check and have them already prepared, made out to “Boys and Girls Aid.” This will move along the line more quickly and especially since we will be checking for proof of vaccination or negative testing.
You will receive a RSVP confirmation by email immediately following your signup online, so be sure you have received that. Otherwise, your name won’t show up at the check-in desk and we won’t have ordered you a lunch. Annual Cypress Branch Membership
Many of you may have seen already the letter sent out from HQ this past week. You can renew using the enclosed form in that mailing and return with your check in the envelope provided in that mailing. You can also download a membership application from the website or refer someone else who hasn’t been a member yet to do so. Annual Dues of $25 are outlined in the letter and on the application. Future Meetings
The situation with COVID-19 and the break throughs even to those vaccinated and in our own community is a sobering reality. Boosters are just becoming available but not yet for most of us. However, we believe that with precautions in place, we will be able to continue in the months ahead. We will continue to monitor and assess ahead of each month’s luncheon. If we are able to meet in person, we will continue to lunch in the CCC dining room until Spring Ridge opens their doors again to the public.
