Hope you are keeping warm and safe from the elements. Sunny today but too cold to melt the ice … yet. We are still hopeful we will all be able to come out of our caves for our luncheon this Friday, January 19th at 11:30 in the Clubhouse dining room. Remember to bring your auction items. In-kind forms available at the luncheon, In-kind forms and donor letters are also available online.
Bingo Rescheduled
The Bingo fundraiser for Boys and Girls Aid needs to be rescheduled because of weather until next Tuesday. Same time next week and if you are signed up, plan on showing up at the Clubhouse dining room at 3:00 pm. If you haven’t signed up yet, when the weather clears, sign up with Claudia at the Activity Center reception,
Pantry Item Needs Updated
“We really appreciate the continued generosity and support that the Cypress Branch has shown toward our programs, pantry and participants. The last donation of cleaning supplies was so great. These items are always needed. We already have an abundance of canned veggies, oatmeal, macaroni and cheese boxes, toothbrushes and toothpaste. So, these items are not needed at this time.” ~ Kristina Martinez, Director of Housing Services.
So here is the update to the Pantry needs – January 2024:
Household supplies:
-toilet paper
-paper towels
-Kleenex
-toilet plungers
-toilet scrub brushes
-trash bags
-reusable grocery bags
Food items:
-ramen
-pasta
-condiments
-Alfredo sauce
Hygiene Items:
-men’s and women’s deodorant
-shampoo and conditioner
NOT NEEDED:
-canned vegetables
-mac and cheese boxes
-tooth brushes and toothpaste
